The Delaware Academy of Medicine is much more than a membership organization for healthcare providers. We are the leading provider of health information in Delaware and operate the following initiatives:

Consumer health education forums

Physician education forums (through promotion, registration and logistics support, and distance engagement using WEBEX)

Financial Aid programs for medical and dental students

Archives and History collection

Hospital libraries (The original Lewis B. Flinn Medical Library was merged with the Medical Library of Christiana Care Health System in 2006, and is now fully managed and operated by Christiana Care under the leadership of Dr. Brian Little, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Research, and Christine Chastain-Warheit, MLS, AHIP, Director Medical Libraries.)
